Welcome to CodeTorch! CodeTorch a personal project by a high schooler, therefore your support is appreciated as this service continues to improve. Furthermore, your privacy is very important and this document will help you understand how I handle your data.
CodeTorch collects some data from you when you use the website. The data collected is not shared with any third parties and is only used by me to improve the website and your experience.
The data collected includes:
- IP Address
- Browser Information
- Time of Visit
- Pages Visited
- Referring Page
- Error Logs
- Github User ID (for OAuth login)
- Email Adress (during signup)
- Birthday (This information is in no way linked to you or your account and is only used for analytics)
- Other data provided by you
CodeTorch also uses cookies to store information about your visit to the website. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you do not want this information to be stored. (Please note most features will not work)
Additionally, we use the following third-party services:

- GitHub - This service is used for OAuth login. GitHub may collect data about your visit to the website. You can view their privacy policy here.
If you are under the age of 13, you must have parental consent to use the website. If you are a parent and believe your child is using the website without your consent, please go to settings and delete their account.
